Standard RC (remote control) cars are 1:10 scale and purchasing these "mini wheels" is fairly common. We decided to take an existing design of a real wheel that's in-production (which we worked on!) and shrink it down for remote control cars. We decided to try this experiment on the ISS Forged F1-15 3-piece wheel from the ML24 Series.

For simplicity reasons, we did not print these RC wheels in 3-pieces (that's for another project). These mini wheels still have the design of the step-lip from the real 3-piece wheels, but are printed in one-piece. The RC specifications and measurements were extracted from an existing RC wheel with a digital caliper and replicated in the 3D file. We 3D printed several of these wheels in white and red, and we even measured the correct offset (which you would do for a real car as well). We were quite surprised at how nice they turned out, especially once the mini tires are put on. We look forward to sharing photos of the final RC car with these wheels installed.
