Laser Scanning is the first step in any aerodynamic development project – especially for motorsports. For this project we were tasked to perform a full exterior body laser scan of the classic, iconic Nissan 350Z. This highly accurate scan data can be used in various ways: product development, aerodynamic parts, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
