2012 BMW M3 E92 Laser Scan

We conducted a comprehensive laser scan of the exterior of the BMW M3 E92 for this project. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of M Division in 2012, BMW created a limited number of Competition Edition Frozen Silver M3s, featuring a unique paint colour called "Frozen Silver Metallic." Using our tracker-based laser scanner, we can scan the entire vehicle without placing target stickers on the paint. This contactless process guarantees that the paint remains untouched while capturing the exterior surfaces with the highest level of accuracy. The gloss black trim pieces and chrome wheel lips were effortlessly scanned along with the unique paint, resulting in a flawless digitization of all surfaces. The end product is a premium scan with exceptional precision, accredited with ISO 17025 certification and captured at a high resolution.
